No, not Electronic Arts, the game developer. Electronic Art, the internet solutions provider.
Electronic Art is a company founded and run by a friend, Tim Burke. The company is doing well and he is looking to expand (again!). You can't do much better than to work for Tim - he is a nice guy. Hell, I'd be working for him now, except for the fact that the company is located in downtown Cincinnati and after having worked for a company downtown and experiencing 2+ years of making the daily commute I grew very weary of it.
Following is the content of an email that Tim sent to me:
I am sending this to my network to try to find good candidates to hire at my company: Electronic Art Internet Solutions. I am currently looking for 1-2 Jr. developers, 1 Sr. developer and a project manager / account exec. If you are aware of anyone that would meet the skill sets I've outlined, please forward this information on to them. I appreciate your help.
The developer jobs require strong ASP / SQL development skills, ASP.net, full life cycle development experience, etc. See the below ad on CareerBuilder.com:
The project manager position would require the ability to work with the development team to create project plans using Visio and MS Project. The PM would interface directly with the client and the team to facilitate meetings, outline project requirements, and monitor project progress. Would prefer a PM with management experience in software development projects and / or some programming experience.
We are looking to hire immediately. Salaries are negotiable based upon experience. Electronic Art LLC specializes in Ecommerce and database driven web based applications. We have an informal and relaxed work environment in Clifton near the University of Cincinnati.
Electronic Art, LLC. Is an equal opportunity employer.
