Say Yes to the Dayton .NET Dev Group!

Published to Blog on 8 Jan 2007

Have you always wanted to go to a .NET users group, but just haven’t gotten around to it?  Do you currently occasionally go to CINNUG, but wonder what other local groups might offer?  Do you just have nothing better to do on a Wednesday night than eat some free pizza, drink some cold beverages, and listen to what some of the brightest minds in the industry have to say on the hottest topics?

Well - I’ve got just what you need!  Stop on by a Dayton.NET Developers Group meeting!

January’s celebrity guest will be Dave Donaldson (yes, that’s right of CodeKeep fame - you know he won an award for that, right!?!? Check out last month’s issue of MSDN Magazine for details) presenting “Power Programming with Attributes”. This topic is actually the foundation of his new open source project, EViL. I saw Dave do this presentation a couple of months ago at CINNUG and because Dave is such a good speaker and the topic is so valuable and interesting I look forward to seeing it again!

Check out the Dayton .NET Developers Group web site for information on other upcoming meetings. And then come join us for a good time.  And while you’re at it - tell them Dan sent you and that you’re my guest - they’ll roll out the red carpet for you!

(Full disclosure: I’m told that there is some kind of membership drive going on and the more new members you bring with you the better chance you have at winning a Zune. Blah, Blah, Blah. Yeah, whatever. Like that is the ONLY reason I would put together a post like this. Come on! If I win the stupid Zune I’ll give it away … to my wife)
