Some Parting Thoughts before the Weekend

Published to Blog on 10 Dec 2004

A few days ago I was in a Counting Crows mood and I was listening to my library of their songs.  There’s nothing like 60 Counting Crows songs in a row to make you reflect upon life, love and all that crap. Anyway, while enjoying I jotted down a few memorable lyrics:

sunsets don’t have much of a finish

hang your hopes on rusted out hinges

she’s been crying; I’ve been drinking

One last note: if I hear U2’s “Vertigo” one more time on MusicMatch radio (or on any radio for that matter) I think I will shoot myself.
