Someone posted a link to this on a forum that I regularly read: http://www.starterupsteve.com/swf/posting.html It should be required training for everyone on every discussion board on the internet!! And it's funny, too. Share this post: email it! | bookmark it! | digg it! | kick it! | live it!

Apparently I had a donkey, it died, and I cried.
Apparently I had a donkey, it died, and I cried.
My daughter, a kindergartener, came home with a new rhyme today that I had never heard before. It goes something like this: Inky Binky Bonky Daddy had a donkey. The donkey died. Daddy cried. Inky Binky Bonky. This rhyme is used like those to determine who's it , like “One Potato, Two Potato”, “Eenie Meeney Minny Moe”, and the countless mother's dirty dishrags exposed over time. I had never heard of this one before, though. And I thought I had heard it all. :) Ahh, those were...

The Marco Polo Design Methodology - I've been involved in way to many of these projects.
Chuck Bryan has a nice little tongue-in-cheek blurb about Marco Polo Softwared Design Methodology . “Marco”... “Polo”... I must be getting close. “Marco”... “Polo”... Damn, they moved again! Share this post: email it! | bookmark it! | digg it! | kick it! | live it!
Adventures in Idiocy
Adventures in Idiocy
(names have been garbled to protect the names of the innocent and not-so-innocent) A couple of days ago my buddy, Ken Pa... ummm.. Ben Kangpurn, IM'd me and said “You're not going to believe this...” or something similar - you get the point. Anyway, to make a long story short. Ben and his partner Mark Clarx have a client named ummm... LifespanOccurrencesPhotography.com. They've built, maintained, and added to the site over the last few years. It's built on ASP, ASP.NET and SQL Server...
Veterans Day and what it means to Me.
Veterans Day and what it means to Me.
On this Veteran's Day I'd like to honor all veterans, but especially my family and friends. I come from a long line of men who have served their country honorably and proudly. Me and both my brothers are veterans - 13 years of service between the three of us. My Dad is a veteran. Two of my three uncles are veterans. Both of my grandfather's are veterans. Almost every male from both sides of my family are veterans. My father-in-law is a veteran, all four of my wife's uncles are veterans, one of my...

Democrats don't get it
Democrats don't get it
Ahhh, well, I haven't said anything political in my blog to this point, but... I heard an interesting quote on a news program yesterday evening. I can't remember which news show it was, but they were discussing how over the last 10 years democrats have continued to lose Gubernatorial, Senate, and House seats. The only democrats that they've been able to put into the White House over the last 30 years were Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton, both Southern Democrats, which most people would consider pretty...
The coolest thing I saw yesterday: the cryo mouse
The coolest thing I saw yesterday: the cryo mouse
Found an interesting article and how-to on making your mouse look like a mini-cryo chamber for a tiny Lego Man on the Hack A Day site yesterday. My wife even thought it was kind of cool and she is extremely anti-geek stuff. Well, she loves the nerdy-type of guy, which would seem to be a given considering she married me, but she doesn't like nerdy stuff and especially doesn't like hardware hacking projects. Her dislike of that stuff may have something to do with the boxes of electronic “junk”, mostly...
