Mini Opera - even on my phone !
Mini Opera - even on my phone !
Yesterday afternoon, Ryan , who is the biggest gadget guy I know, comes running into my office holding his cell phone out in front of him, "Opera released a browser for cell phones! It doesn't use WAP, WML, etc - it just browses HTML. On almost any cell phone!" Within minutes, I had gone to http://mini.opera.com on my phone, downloaded and installed the new browser, and was browsing a site to see how well it worked or didn't. Wasn't too bad, actually. Community Server - a brief synopsis of my experience setting up this site
As I mentioned before, this blog is actually just a small part of the entire site. This "suite" of sites also encompasses my wife's and children's blogs as well that I gave to them (along with their own domain names) as Christmas presents. I still plan on writing about my experience with...

Possibly the best error message ever
"Could not determine the type on the left side of the dot" Dave Donaldson inadvertently demonstrated this VS.NET error message last night while giving a demo of VSTS. How, you ask? In his own words: Keep in mind that “Generate Method Stub“ can only be used on methods; it cannot be used to generate classes. If you try to generate a class from a unit test using “Generate Method Stub“, you get this hilarious error: “Could not determine the type on the left side of the dot“. http://loudcarrot.com/Blogs...
