How to get a bit more technical
Jim Holmes put out a great post recently "Changing Jobs? Evaluate Where You're At (And Fix It!)".
While the post is basically Jim's story of how he got himself up to snuff so he could go out and get the job he wanted it is a great roadmap for anyone looking to do the same as well as a reminder to all of us to stay connected.
I do and have done many of Jim's recommendations. I have to admit, though, that of the six books that Jim says are vital I have only read two. Darn - there are four more books I need to add to my "to read" pile.
