Like most holidays, Memorial Day is a day for me to cook some man-food. This almost always involves the grill and my smoker. I've been making some good baby back ribs for a couple of years thanks to my buddy Andy and his web site Andy's Ribs . Ouch, I just saw on his site that he'll no longer be selling his rib rub and recipes. Darn it! I have sent quite a few friends his way in the past and they've always loved what Andy was dishing up. I still have my recipe book, but I'll have to hit Andy up for...
Telligenti.com is here . It's about doggone time, I've been wondering what the plans were for the site for a long time. We now know! "Serving up fresh fajitas everyday, Telligent style" Telligenti is a term for the people (like me!) who make up Telligent Systems, Inc. Telligenti.com is a site to read what all the Telligenti have to say in one place. I'm sure that like me you subscribe to each and every one of our blogs, but now it's much easier - just subscribe to the main RSS feed of Telligenti...
Yes, we messed up some things last week with the rollout of the *.asp.net sites. We failed to properly inform all the bloggers of weblogs.asp.net that they were getting an upgrade. The new skins blew up some existing blog sites. We failed to replicate some functionality that already existed on forums.asp.net, which we have diligently been working to correct this week. The list goes on. I won't get into that right now, but I will address it all in a future post and from what I understand we will publish...
He he he, I wrote "Moron Ann Arbor", ... Anyway, in my last post I forgot to mention what a great job they did running the show. It really seemed to be very well-planned and all the hard work they put into it showed. Hats off to Jason Follas , Darrell Hawley , John T. Hopkins and everyone else involved. Maybe Jason or one of those guys can post with a list of everyone who contributed to the planning and execution of the event - giving praise where it is due. It really was a great event, like last...
I planned on putting together my thoughts on the event, but Mike Eaton beat me to it . He saw the same sessions I did and basically had the same comments I would have made. So go read what Mike said and I'll just say, "Me, too!". The only difference was that I did not attend Josh Holmes' first session because I was still helping out at the registration desk. Meeting up with Mike and Joe for a couple of hours Friday night was great. Mike and I have chatted here and there when we've had the chance...
I watched the Scoble interview with Scott Guthrie ( via Ancora Imparo ) this morning, the one in which Jeff Prosise described Monday's introduction of Silverlight as "the day the web changed". It's really the first time I've taken any kind of look at Silverlight and the new technologies. After hearing ScottGu describe Silverlight in his own words, I'm really starting to get excited and can't wait to get my hands on some of this stuff now. To Do: head over to VisitMix.com to see the keynote presentations...
First I must apologize to friends and family who I usually keep some type of regular contact with, I have been slammed lately. I do see the light at the end of the tunnel, though. By the end of next week I think my life will return to its normal chaotic state - which will be a welcome relief from its current super ultra hyper chaotic state. In case you need an example: I've been telling the dogs for two weeks that they need a bath, but I haven't had time to give them one - and they stink! Over the...
Jose Lema, the leader of the free world - um, well, at least the leader of the Community Server dev team - reported today that he has started providing information about Morpheus . Morpheus is the codename for the membership, roles and profile updates to Community Server 2007. While Morpheus is new to CS in general, I've been living with it for about six months now. By this time next week I will have migrated a couple of large Community Server sites from CS 2.1 through pre-release versions of Morpheus...
